Full job description

Title: Kitchen Porter

Reports to: Area Manager

Location: Dublin 5

Rate: €15.92 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week (less one-hour unpaid break), Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Start Date: Immediate start


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Clean floors, tables, chairs, and self-service areas.
  • Monitor food levels in vending machines and replenish items as required.
  • Refill milk dispensers, cutlery stations, and other customer service points.
  • Empty bins regularly and ensure the proper disposal of waste.
  • Support the chef and interact professionally with customers.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Work independently while adhering to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Safety guidelines.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.


Requirements

  • Previous kitchen porter, catering, or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • HACCP certification is advantageous but not required; full training will be provided.
  • Competency in the English language, including speaking, understanding, and reading instructions.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Full training will be provided.
