Lead one of Ireland's most exciting adventure, hospitality and tourism operations.

Carlingford Adventure Centre, Skypark Carlingford and Carlingford Holiday Homes are seeking an experienced Attraction Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and take operational responsibility for one of Ireland's most unique visitor destinations.

This is not a single-site departmental management role.

You'll help lead a multi-faceted tourism business welcoming more than 50,000 guests annually across adventure activities, accommodation, hospitality, events and visitor experiences.

Working directly with the General Manager, you'll oversee daily operations across Carlingford Adventure Centre, Skypark Carlingford and Carlingford Holiday Homes, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial performance, and high standards of safety, quality and presentation.

The Scale of the Operation

  • 50,000+ visitors annually
  • 40+ adventure activities
  • 336 guest beds
  • Catering operations serving up to 450 guests per sitting
  • School tours, family breaks, corporate events, festivals and international groups

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support managers and supervisors across activities, hospitality, accommodation, housekeeping, retail, guest services and maintenance
  • Drive operational performance across all areas of the business
  • Ensure excellent standards of health, safety and compliance
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, resources and operational planning
  • Support the delivery of large-scale events, corporate programmes and seasonal attractions
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to ensure seamless delivery of booked programmes and events
  • Monitor budgets, resources and commercial performance
  • Act as Duty Manager as part of the management rota
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest experience across all sites

About You

You are a confident operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and enjoys leading from the front.

You will ideally have:

  • 5+ years' management experience in hospitality, tourism, visitor attractions, leisure, outdoor education or a similar customer-facing industry
  • Experience managing managers, supervisors or multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness
  • Experience managing staffing, budgets, resources and service delivery
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A practical, hands-on management style
  • The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

Adventure industry experience is welcome but not essential. We are equally interested in strong operational leaders from hospitality, tourism, leisure, hotels, holiday parks, visitor attractions and service-led businesses.

Package
