Since 2011, The School Food Company been dedicated to serving fresh, healthy lunches that are cooked daily onsite in our kitchens which we install in schools.


Position will commence end August, (pre training may be provided where possible)


Locations:
CBS Primary School, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Contract: Team Leader (28 hours per week) Monday to Friday.

This is a Cooking Role: You won't just be serving. You will be peeling, chopping, prepping, and cooking ingredients from scratch every day. (We do not deal with raw meat)

Flexibility is Key: Because of the rotating schedule, this role is not suitable for those in part-time education or with fixed commitments on specific weekdays.


What You Will Be Doing

Cooking from Scratch: preparing fresh, healthy meals daily in our onsite kitchens.

Kitchen Management: Assisting with the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

Service: Delivering the lunches cooked fresh onsite to classrooms. End of day clean down.

Safety First: Maintaining high standards of HACCP food safety and hygiene.


Contract:

Team Leader:

  • 28 hours per week. Shift: Approx 8:00am - 2:00pm. Monday to Friday.
  • You will be cooking fresh meals daily onsite in our kitchen.
  • Leading kitchen operations such as: rostering, placing orders with food service providers, recruiting and supervising staff, ensuring food safety and Company policies are adhered to.
  • Rostering will be issued one week in advance. You will also be required to move between schools within approximately a 30-minute drive of your main location for support.
  • Experience in team leadership, catering, and cooking is required.
  • Training in HACCP is preferable.
  • Term time position only


The Schedule

Hours: Approx. 8.00am - 2.00pm.

Roster: Issued one week in advance.

Term time working hours.
