About Us:
Al Vesuvio is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Dublin, known for our authentic Italian cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and, of course, our delicious pizzas. We are passionate about bringing the true taste of Italy to our customers and are looking for a talented Pizza Chef to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for traditional Italian pizza-making, including preparing dough, using high-quality ingredients, and mastering the art of pizza. You will be responsible for creating pizzas that delight our guests and meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and stretch dough by hand to create traditional Italian pizzas.
  • Use an oven to cook pizzas to perfection.
  • Maintain consistency and high standards in all pizza creations.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-organized.
  • Monitor and manage pizza-making ingredients, ensuring freshness and stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pizza Chef, preferably in an Italian restaurant.
  • Knowledge of pizza ovens and traditional Italian pizza-making techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and a strong understanding of high-quality ingredients.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
