Breakfast Chef

About the Role

Lakeside Manor is hiring a talented Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast each morning, along with baking fresh goods such as breads, scones, and pastries. This is a rewarding role suited to someone who loves early shifts, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys working in a peaceful lakeside setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cook all breakfast dishes to a high standard during morning service
  • Bake fresh goods daily (scones, bread, pastries)
  • Ensure mise-en-place is well prepped the day before
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Monitor stock and communicate ordering needs
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work independently and take initiative during early shifts

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in breakfast service and/or bakery
  • Skilled in scratch baking (especially Irish/continental styles)
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Calm and capable in a solo or small-team kitchen
  • Strong communication and fluent English
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
