Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Finance Manager / Financial Controller to support the company's financial management, tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning activities.

This role is approximately 80% remote, with on-site attendance required twice per week. The successful candidate will work closely with company management and provide professional guidance on financial operations, tax planning, budgeting, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Advise on accounting system setup and financial structure optimization.
  • Develop and implement annual tax planning strategies.
  • Review and guide monthly tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Review bank reconciliations and company financial transactions.
  • Review sales expenses and other operational expenditures.
  • Assist with monthly inventory stocktaking and reconciliation.
  • Support the annual external audit process.
  • Review monthly financial statements and management accounts.
  • Prepare and submit a monthly financial report to the Chairman.

Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • At least 5 years of finance department management experience.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish taxation and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting and financial software.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Stamp 4 or legal right to live and work in Ireland.
  • Full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 2.5 hours per day (12.5 hours per week).
  • On-site attendance required every Tuesday and Friday.
  • Approximately 80% of work can be completed remotely.

Compensation

  • €1,300 per month.
  • Payment made on the 26th of each month.
  • Initial contract term: 12 months.

Pay: €26.00 per hour
