Full job description
Sea Church, one of Ireland’s most unique coastal venues, is seeking a hands-on and confident Restaurant Supervisor to support the smooth delivery of our diverse busy restaurant.
This is a fully operational, on-the-floor role, working directly with our Venue Manager. Your purpose is to ensure that everything runs seamlessly: the venue is set up correctly, timelines are respected, and guests have an exceptional experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support our Venue Manager in the smooth operation at Sea Church.
- Lead the floor ensuring the venue is prepared, organised and ready according to schedule.
- Oversee venue set-up, seating, signage, bar readiness and any other specific requirements.
- Coordinate with the FOH and bar teams to maintain a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
Guest interaction:
- Act as a welcoming and approachable point of contact for our guests.
- Respond to guest needs and minor issues in a calm, professional manner, escalating when needed.
Operational follow-up:
- Lead opening / closing procedures, including basic checks and coordination with the team.
- Report any incidents, feedback or operational observations to our Venue Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in hospitality, pubs, bars, music venues or similar environments.
- Strong leadership on the floor, with the ability to keep teams aligned during busy shows.
- Excellent communication and quick problem-solving skills.
- Confidence when dealing with guests and suppliers.
- Ability to stay calm in high-energy or time-sensitive environments.
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location and varying event hours.
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends based on the events schedule.
What We Offer
- A vibrant working environment in a stunning coastal venue.
- The opportunity to work closely with a very experienced restaurant team.
- Staff discounts across the Flynn Cush Group.
- Supportive, creative and energetic team.
- Free car parking.
Pay: €16.00-€17.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- On-site parking
Experience:
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
