Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to support one of our long-standing client sites. The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout a large, well-used leisure and hospitality facility with a mix of indoor public areas, changing spaces, and service zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitising
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of locker rooms, washrooms, corridors, and common areas
  • Ensure bins are emptied and waste is handled correctly
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules provided by the facilities management team
  • Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
  • Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages
  • Interact professionally with staff, guests, and visitors on-site

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning duties
