Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaning Assistant to join our team within a residential setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness servicing residents bedrooms twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning

* Clean residents bedrooms.

* Clean high-touch areas such as door handles, handrails and other frequently used surfaces.

* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

* Sweep, vacuum and mop floors as required.

* Carry out regular cleaning checks and report any maintenance or cleaning issues.

* Ensure cleaning equipment and products are stored safely and securely.

* Follow all relevant health and safety, COSHH and cleaning procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

* Reliable and punctual.

* Hardworking and able to work independently.

* Organised and able to manage their time effectively.

* Comfortable carrying out physical tasks, including lifting and moving laundry.

* Detail-oriented and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

* Friendly, respectful and professional when working around residents.

* Able to follow cleaning, laundry and health and safety procedures.

* Flexible and willing to assist with other reasonable duties when required.

Previous cleaning is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours

Monday and Thursday

9:00am–4:00pm

14 hours per week

This role does not normally require weekend working.
