Role Purpose

The Working Industrial Cleaning Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise and actively participate in industrial and specialist cleaning works across

client sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required

standard.

pressure washing, carpet and upholstery deep cleaning, kitchen deep cleaning, toilet

and washroom deep cleaning, floor cleaning and other specialist tasks.

method statements, safe systems of work and company procedures.

 Prepare, review and update risk assessments and method statements for cleaning

activities, ensuring they are practical, site-specific and communicated clearly to the

team before work begins.

 Support GMP and pharmaceutical cleaning requirements where applicable, including

strict adherence to cleaning procedures, segregation controls, documentation,

hygiene standards and audit readiness.

 Inspect work during and after completion, carrying out quality checks, identifying

defects and ensuring corrective actions are completed promptly.

 Act as the main on-site contact for clients during works, providing professional

updates, resolving practical issues and escalating concerns to management where

required.

 Train, coach and support cleaning operatives in safe working practices, equipment

use, chemical handling, cleaning standards and customer service expectations.

 Ensure all cleaning equipment, machinery, vehicles and tools are checked, cleaned,

maintained, safely stored and reported for repair where necessary.

 Monitor stock levels of chemicals, consumables, PPE and specialist materials,

ensuring efficient use and avoiding unnecessary waste.

 Complete site paperwork accurately, including work records, sign-off sheets, cleaning

logs, equipment checks, incident reports, timesheets and client documentation.

 Promote a positive safety culture by identifying hazards, reporting near misses,

managing unsafe conditions and ensuring staff follow all health and safety

requirements.

 Support the mobilisation of new works, one-off deep cleans, periodic cleaning

projects and emergency response cleaning where required.

 Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on client sites, representing the

company positively at all times.
