Walton Institute is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on national and EU projects linked to the research area of digital health registries and electronic patient records (EPRs) for epilepsy. Walton Institute is a partner in the Research Ireland Centre FutureNeuro for Translational Brain Science with strong collaborations with RCSI.
The role will focus on the development of epilepsy patient health data registries that are interoperable with European rare disease and health data systems. The clinical utility of these registries will be enhanced by the development of automated tools for clinical trial matching and precision medicine. The researcher will work closely with clinicians and other healthcare providers and regulatory bodies to ensure validation, compliance, scalability, and real-world applicability of these tools.
