Reports To: Finance Director and the CEO and a close working relationship with Finance Team and Operational Departments

Role
Reporting to the Finance Director your responsibilities will include interpreting & reporting financial information to aid management in business decision-making and control.
Key Responsibilities Accountabilities and Duties
Review and preparation of Analysis of Monthly Management Accounts- Actual and Budget comparison within a tight reporting timetable.
Drafting Analysis Commentary on Monthly and YTD Performance for review by Finance Director.
Providing Ad Hock Analysis to support Operations and Forward Planning.
Reviewing Performance of Individual Departments.
Review of RDV Projects and Revenue releases.
Support to Operations in Business Planning and Costs Management.
Providing Analysis to Budget process and Review of Draft Budgets.
Preparation of Weekly Rolling Cashflow Forecast.
Strong Understanding of Product Costing.
Costs Control and monitoring as required.
Cover for Accounts preparation.
Preparation of analysis for grant applications and grant claims.
Providing Analysis for Capital projects.
Other reports and presentations, etc, as required by the position.
Deal with auditors.
Education
Ideally Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years post qualification experience in a similar role. Part qualified considered with demonstrable equivalent experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills
Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights into business performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Ability to prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Management Reporting: Experience in producing management reports for decision-making purposes.
Cost Accounting: Understanding of costing methodologies and cost control techniques.
Financial Software: Proficiency in ERP systems and in using accounting and other business software applications and advanced Excel skills.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
Problem Solving: Ability to challenge data, to identify issues, analyse root causes, and propose solutions.
Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Time Management: Efficiently manage workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
