Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Documentation Specialist to join a leading global healthcare manufacturer on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with experience in document control or quality documentation within a regulated environment who enjoys working with systems, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate technical records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain controlled documentation systems, record retention, and electronic document management processes.
  • Ensure documentation complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technical and non-technical document change requests.
  • Maintain document control procedures, record classification, and retention processes.
  • Interpret and apply documentation standards, formatting requirements, and operating procedures.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of regulatory documentation and submissions where required.
  • Analyse documentation, prepare summaries, and extract key information as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant.

Requirements

  • NFQ Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment and following controlled documentation processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
