Full job description

Painter required to work at Collins Construction & Project Management Ltd located at 2-4 Merville Road, Stillorgan, Co Dublin, A94 E3F8. The candidate must have at least 6 months’ experience in the role. The duties include paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other protective and decorative materials for interior and exterior walls and surfaces, apply primer, undercoat and finishing coat(s) using brush, roller, or spray equipment, mix adhesive or remove self-adhesive backing and position covering material on wall, matching up pattern, prepare work areas and surfaces for painting and finishing works, carry out minor wall repairs, patching, filling and sanding of surfaces, assist with plasterboard/drywall preparation and finishing, protect floors, fixtures and surrounding areas before painting activities, move and organise materials required for painting and finishing projects, perform touch-up and finishing work to completed surfaces, assist with access equipment when required, support internal and external painting and decorating works, maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment at all times.
