Full job description

Excellent opportunity for a Production Supervisor on an Evening Shift with a Leading Life Sciences company in Mayo. The Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager and will oversee cleanroom manufacturing operations at the Mayo facility. The role involves leading, training and developing the production team, delivering the production plan, and ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and GMP standards.

Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request)

  • Lead evening-shift production and site operations.
  • Manage, coach and develop production teams.
  • Deliver production schedules, priorities and KPIs.
  • Support recruitment, training and performance management.
  • Identify and resolve production risks and issues.
  • Ensure Safety, Quality and GMP compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • Level 7 qualification in Business, Management, Production, Engineering or similar is desirable.
  • 3+ years’ production supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and team management skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality.
