Commercial Marketing Executive Financial Services Insurance

This is not a standard marketing role.

We are looking for a Commercial Marketing Executive to sit directly within a high-performing commercial insurance team, supporting some of the most important client acquisition and growth activity in the business.

If you come from a B2B marketing background in financial services, insurance, banking, or professional services, this is an opportunity to move closer to the commercial engine of a business rather than sitting in a purely brand or campaign function.

What you will actually be doing

You will be at the centre of commercial activity, working directly with the insurance and sales teams to shape how the business wins and retains clients.

Your work will include:

Supporting major new business bids and pitch processes, including full bid management and presentation development
Creating high-impact commercial content across Word, PowerPoint, and digital formats tailored to specific tenders
Owning B2B marketing materials across the commercial division, ensuring consistency, clarity, and commercial impact
Working across digital campaigns, email marketing, website content, blogs, and social media channels
Supporting and managing trade events and industry activity
Tracking campaign performance and marketing effectiveness using data and insights
Working closely with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, design, and external agencies
Ensuring all activity aligns with brand, compliance, and regulatory standards including GDPR

What we are looking for

3 to 5 years experience in B2B marketing
Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or a regulated environment is highly desirable
Strong PowerPoint and Word capability with confidence building client-facing presentations
Exposure to digital marketing, campaigns, and content creation
Analytical mindset with an understanding of marketing performance and reporting
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial environment
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
Creative thinking combined with commercial awareness and attention to detail
