As a Care Manager, you will be at the heart of service delivery—supporting clients, mentoring caregivers, and helping to maintain the highest standards of care in the community.

What you will do

• Conduct client consultations and develop personalised care plans.
• Carry out home risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
• Complete quality assurance visits and review care outcomes.
• Support, mentor and supervise caregivers across your region.
• Demonstrate best practice in personal care delivery, manual handling and the safe use of equipment including hoists and Sara Stedy aids.
• Work closely with families, Public Health Nurses, HSE teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Investigate and resolve client and caregiver concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HSE, HCCI and company standards.

What we are looking for

This role is ideal for someone who has substantial practical experience delivering care and is ready to take the next step into a management role.

You will have:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a related discipline.
• QQI Level 6 in Supervisory Management (or willingness to complete this qualification, which may be sponsored by Dovida).
• Alternatively, a Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in a relevant healthcare field.
• At least 3 years' experience in home care, healthcare or services supporting older people.
• Strong practical care skills including personal care, mobility support, manual handling and the use of hoists and specialist equipment.
• Confidence coaching and supporting caregivers in the field.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems, email and Microsoft Office. We are a paperless organisation.
