Staff Nurse (Various Specialties)

Location: Limerick (Acute Hospitals, Community, Private Healthcare, Residential & Specialist Services)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent
Salary: Competitive

Role Overview

Adare Global Personnel Solutions are currently sourcing numerous Staff Nurses across various specialties. Staff Nurses deliver safe, evidence-based, and person-centred nursing care across a range of clinical settings. Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, nurses support patient assessment, care planning, treatment, and recovery while upholding professional standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care appropriate to the clinical setting
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments in line with policies and best practice
  • Monitor patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
  • Promote patient dignity, safety, and informed consent
  • Comply with infection prevention, safeguarding, and health & safety standards

Essential Requirements

  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with NMBI
  • Post-registration experience in an Irish healthcare setting
  • Relevant nursing qualification (General, Surgical, Theatre, Medical, Ward, or related specialty)
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA, Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, or Irish citizenship)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Garda Vetting and occupational health clearance

Desirable

  • Experience in one or more specialties (e.g. medical/surgical wards, theatre, ICU, ED)
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts where required
