Scope of Role: Load and unload all product moves to & from the off site warehouse
Days & Hours of Work: 8am – 4.30 Mon to Thurs , 8am to 3.30 Fri
Accountabilities

- Load / unload all inbound / outbound shipments
- Operate inventory management system
- Adhere to DGF H&S policy
- Maximise warehouse space utilisation
- Operate machinery as required (10 Tonne forklift etc)
- Partake in cycle counts and stock checks as required
- Takes part in all cleaning functions daily and signs off check sheet
- Ensures contracted suppliers comply with company quality procedures
- Maintains pro-active communication/relationship with
- peers/superiors and especially informs superior immediately
- of discrepancies, problems or non-performance or non
- observance
- Label Import / Export freight as required.
- Load & Offload domestic and international vehicles, mark manifests and notify discrepancies and damages.
- Complete any warehouse related documentation is completed for operations
- Action Operational irregularities / customer complaints, and implement corrective actions
- Ensures good housekeeping, bins emptied daily
- Ordering, stock control, maintenance of warehouse supplies / equipment
- Monitors day to day H&S in the warehouse and highlight areas of concern
- Facilitates customer & quality audits
- Ensure all import/export manifests and trailer check sheets are printed off for each load.
- When trailers are loaded/offloaded make sure that both manifest sheets are marked with any discrepancies and signed by the person that offloaded the trailer.
- Ensures that all health and safety guidelines and procedures are kept to. Also that all team members or anyone entering the warehouse has full PP
- Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution practice (GDP) for Life Science business, as required.

- Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme
