Data Protection Analyst

Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Contract: 12-15 Month Contract
Rate: €241.45 Daily Rate
Travel: Occasional travel to Cork (2-3 times per year)

Your New Role

This is a hands-on Data Protection position supporting a wide range of privacy and compliance activities. You will work closely with the Data Protection Office, helping to manage Data Subject Requests, privacy assessments, compliance monitoring, and data protection incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Data Subject Requests (DSARs).
• Assist with data breach investigations, complaints, and enquiries.
• Maintain the Data Protection Risk Register.
• Support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Advise on data transfers and data protection requirements.
• Ensure appropriate Data Processing Agreements are in place.
• Monitor compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
• Prepare KPIs, metrics, and management reports.
• Support projects, training initiatives, and day-to-day Data Protection Office activities.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Previous Data Protection, Privacy, GDPR, or Compliance experience.
• Relevant qualification in Data Protection, Law, Compliance, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience managing DSARs, DPIAs, data breaches, and compliance activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and become operational quickly.
• Experience within utilities, water, energy, or other regulated industries is desirable.
