Full job description

Bring Automation to the Construction Site

At Hitechniques, we’re helping construction companies and owner-operators transform how they work — using 3D machine control systems that guide excavators and dozers with centimetre-level precision.

In partnership with Unicontrol, we retrofit advanced guidance systems onto existing machines, train operators to use them, and provide full technical support. Over the past three years, we’ve become the go-to company for machine control solutions across Ireland.

We’re now looking for a Construction Technology Sales Specialist to develop our market, deliver hands-on demonstrations, and help operators embrace the future of construction.

If you’re construction-savvy, tech-curious, and driven to make an impact, this is your opportunity to build a high-growth career in a cutting-edge field.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow the market for machine control and surveying solutions in your territory
  • Identify and engage customers in the construction, civil engineering, and plant hire sectors
  • Conduct product demonstrations and operator training on site
  • Build strong customer relationships and become their trusted technology advisor
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and proposals tailored to project needs
  • Represent Hitechniques and Unicontrol at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Collaborate with technical support to ensure excellent after-sales service

Your Background

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in construction, plant, or technical products
  • Familiarity with construction machinery and site practices
  • Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new systems
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and training others
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently

What’s in It for You

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Company vehicle, laptop, and phone
  • Full technical and product training — become an expert in 3D machine control
  • Genuine career growth as our distributorship expands
  • The chance to shape the future of how construction gets done
