THE COMPANY:

Our client is a global facilities management and workplace services organisation, delivering integrated solutions to some of the world's leading corporate, healthcare, industrial, technology and public sector organisations.

With continued growth across the UK and Ireland, they are seeking a Project Manager (PMO) to join their Transition Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major mobilisation, retention and transformation programmes that play a key role in the success of large customer contracts and business operations.

THE ROLE:

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating complex mobilisation, business transition and transformation projects across the UK & Ireland business.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will manage multiple project workstreams, ensure strong governance and reporting processes are in place, and drive projects through to successful completion. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, project planning and organisational skills, with regular interaction across operational, commercial and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading mobilisation, retention and transformation projects across the UK & Ireland
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and delivery roadmaps
  • Managing project timelines, dependencies, milestones and critical actions
  • Driving project governance, controls and best practice project management methodologies
  • Monitoring project performance through KPI reporting and progress tracking
  • Managing project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through RAID management
  • Facilitating project meetings and ensuring actions are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Producing project reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Supporting budget management, forecasting and business case development
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices across future programmes

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within Project Management, PMO, Business Transformation, Mobilisation, Operations or Programme Delivery environments. Experience within Facilities Management, Outsourcing, Workplace Services or other multi-site operational businesses would be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Project Management experience within a complex business environment
  • Experience delivering mobilisation, transition or change management projects
  • Degree qualification or Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of project governance and PMO disciplines
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com or similar platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, reporting and presentation capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of contract-based environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
