Excel Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Relief Chefs to join our expanding temporary team across Dublin and Co. Dublin. Rate of pay €18-€20 per hour + premium Sunday rates.

We have ongoing work available in healthcare facilities, hospitals, contract catering units, hospitality venues, and staff restaurants. Whether you're looking for full-time hours, extra shifts, or work between jobs, we have opportunities available every week across Dublin and Co. Dublin.

As a Relief Chef with Excel Recruitment, you'll have the freedom to choose when and where you work while earning competitive hourly rates and getting paid weekly.

Chef Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served within required timeframes
  • Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen
  • Assist with stock control and minimise food waste
  • Work effectively as part of a kitchen team
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines

Chef Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
  • Experience in healthcare, contract catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Own transport is beneficial, as some client locations are not accessible by public transport
