Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at The Loft. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a professional kitchen, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for preparing high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including grilled meats, hot meals, daily specials, and side dishes.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
  • Assist with stock rotation, food storage, and inventory control.
  • Work efficiently during busy service hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting
  • Ability to work full-time (30-40 hours ), including weekends.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
