Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated cook to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their culinary skills in a dynamic café environment. You’ll be responsible for supporting the chefs in food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and learning all aspects of food production with a focus on sandwiches, pasta, and other café-style dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the café’s menu
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards
  • Handle mise en place (prep work) for sandwiches, pasta, salads, and light meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs and support them as needed during busy service times
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the senior team of shortages
  • Comply with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience is mandatory (training can be provided)
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Willingness to learn and a strong passion for food
  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction
  • Good time management and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From €550.00 per week
