Full job description

Cocoon Childcare operate several childcare facilities throughout Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Cork. Working as part of the Finance Team and being part of the wider Cocoon team, you will be exposed to all aspects of running a medium sized and growing business. This role will suit an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic setting.

We are currently seeking the right candidate to join our Team for a permanent role within our Finance Team. Working closely with HR, Finance and operational teams you will play an important role in maintaining high standards while continually looking for ways to simplify processes and improve controls.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities to include

Accounts Payable & Payroll

· Monthly payroll processing

o Including liaising with centre managers, regarding hours, overtime, illness etc.

o Ability to advise staff regarding pay or tax queries.

· Accounts payable including posting of supplier invoices/payments to accounting systems and reconciliation of same

· Assisting in Bank Account & Credit card processing/ reconciliation

Desired Skills and Experience

· Commercially minded individual with relevant experience in accounting

· Strong communication & organisational skills with the ability to multitask

· Ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Sage Accounts & Payroll is preferable

Salary:

· Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
