Full job description

Our client, a leading global company in the Medical Device and Healthcare industry, is currently looking for a Surgical Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This will be primarily on the road covering Munster with a focus on Cork, Waterford, Tralee, and Limerick. This position will suit a high-performing sales individual and will manage, develop, and grow the Orthopaedic implant and power tools portfolio within the Munster region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth to meet profitability and margin targets while expanding opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • Promote and develop the Orthopaedic Implants & Power Tools portfolio, positioning the brand as a market leader.
  • Lead theatre and hospital capital projects, delivering value as a trusted systems partner.
  • Enhance service models for orthopaedic procedures and power tools across all disciplines.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships within public and private hospitals in Munster.
  • Manage key projects and identify efficiencies, growth opportunities, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, providing insights and feedback to business leadership.
  • Deliver training, presentations, in-services, and education to end-users.
  • Represent the company and its products professionally, maintaining strong customer relationships and credibility.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Attend national and international exhibitions and conferences to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Sales/Commercial experience in the medical/healthcare industry for a minimum of 2/3 years.
  • Proven experience in building customer relationships.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levels.
  • Resilient, able to deal with a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented, with the tenacity to effectively handle and move past objections.
  • Full clean driving license and flexible to travel onsite to meet clients.
