Introduction / Overview

The Component Distributors Group is the largest wholesale distributor of vehicle replacement spares in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. As part of our continued development, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to play a key role in our business.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our growing team based in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

Vacancy: Customer Service Representative

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Reports to: Office Manager

Job type: Full Time; Permanent

Probation: 6 months from start date

Rate of pay: Starting at €33,000 per year, experience depending

Job summary / Role and Responsibilities

· Well organised and have a professional attitude towards customer service.

· Answer customer calls and assist with identifying correct parts required and processing sales.

· Look to make the trading experience as easy, smooth, and efficient as possible for all customers.

· Follow through customer order issues and reach appropriate solution.

· Be responsible for all relevant processes in line with the operational requirements in your designated area.

· Highlight any issues to the manager immediately.

· Build and develop professional relationships with all collegues and customers.

· Attend and contribute to meetings as necessary.

· Comply with Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health and Safety protocols.

· Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave and any other relevant process.

· Participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.

Essential Criteria

o Very strong IT literacy – including Microsoft Office

o Communication – calm, polite and very strong English.

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

o Strong problem-solving ability and organisation skills.

o Team player with a proactive attitude.

Desirable Criteria

· Previous experience of Automotive Aftermarket
