Full job description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Limerick. This role has a high level of technical responsibility and requires strong mechanical reasoning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with customers, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and in-house resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Project scheduling and resource planning to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all process steps.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role within a similar environment.
  • Third-level qualification (minimum Level 8) in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Precision, or Manufacturing).
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software applications.
  • Flexibility, dynamism, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Technical mindset with proven problem-solving ability in a mechanical design engineering environment.
  • Account ownership and business development skills to manage and grow key accounts.

Educational Requirements

  • Level 8 in an Engineering Discipline.
