ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading regional CSA consultancy, for a Senior Technician for a role in the North East. This role is ideal for a highly experienced Technician, looking to take on more project responsibility, with a long-term view to step into a senior management or executive position.

Role
  • Oversee the design and delivery of residential and commercial projects throughout the North-East, from initial concept through to completion.
  • Oversee site development works, including drainage, utilities, earthworks, and road design.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, supporting their professional development.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure designs meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce and review technical drawings, models, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Causeway Flow.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years experience in an engineering design consultancy environment.
  • Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong skills in Civil 3D and Causeway Flow highly desirable
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport.
  • Experience liaising with local authorities and clients.
