Full job description

Here’s a fantastic opportunity for an Onsite IT Deskside Support Engineer to join a busy IT team. If you thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy solving technical issues while providing a top-notch end-user experience, this could be the next step for you. This position is based 100% onsite in Dublin and offers plenty of chances to get involved in a fast-paced corporate setting.

This is a 3 month contract, fully on site.

As the first point of contact for all technical incidents and service requests, you’ll be right at the heart of the action. You’ll work closely with your IT colleagues, offer day-to-day desktop support, and help maintain high customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, onsite role, where you’ll deal with a wide range of technologies and interact with a diverse user base.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first and second-line technical support to onsite users
  • Log, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents and service requests
  • Set up desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Support Windows environments and standard business applications
  • Assist with user account management and onboarding setup
  • Liaise with wider IT teams on complex issues
  • Maintain documentation and update asset records
  • Provide high-quality customer service while meeting SLAs

What Are We Looking For?:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a similar IT support or deskside support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows operating systems and desktop hardware
  • Proficient supporting Microsoft Office and standard business apps
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service
  • Ability to juggle multiple support requests and prioritise workload
  • Proactive problem solver able to work independently and within a team
  • (Desirable) Familiarity with enterprise environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, basic networking, and relevant IT qualifications/certifications
