BMS ENGINEER - BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Our client, a respected provider of building management and energy control solutions, is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their expanding field service team. This is a full-time, permanent role covering Galway and the West, offering an excellent salary package, company vehicle, and long-term development opportunities.

COMPANY:

Our client delivers BMS installation, service, and energy optimisation solutions for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and public-sector clients. They support projects from design through to commissioning and long-term maintenance. Due to continued growth and new service contracts across the West, they are now hiring an experienced BMS Engineer.

THE ROLE:

The BMS Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BMS systems on client sites.

  • Diagnosing issues with controllers, field devices, sensors, I/O modules, and system networks.

  • Making software and hardware adjustments to restore and optimise system performance.

  • Carrying out minor installation, upgrade, and commissioning work when required.

  • Delivering high-quality technical support and customer service.

  • Working as a field service engineer covering Galway and the surrounding areas.

  • Standard working hours: 8am - 5pm.

THE PERSON:

Our client is seeking candidates who:

  • Have experience with BMS hardware and software.

  • Possess knowledge of controls logic, system architecture, and networking.

  • Have prior experience with Tridium, Cylon, or similar BMS platforms (highly advantageous).

  • Possess strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.

  • Are self-sufficient, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently.

  • Hold a full, clean driving licence.

THE PACKAGE:

  • Base Salary: €60,000 - €90,000 (DOE)

  • Vehicle: Company van + fuel card

  • Pension: 3.5% contributory

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Other: Training, overtime opportunities, future progression

LOCATION: Galway (covering the wider West / Connacht region)
