Full job description

Move Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for on-site operations across an exciting project in the Letterkenny area. You’ll oversee all phases of construction and installation, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards.

Location: Letterkenny, Co.Donegal
Job type: Temporary (up to 6 months minimum)
Remuneration: Attractive Salary (negotiable) ROI and UK rates can be arranged.

This role will have the potential for other long term projects in ROI and UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Surveying and Setting out
  • Check drawings and quantities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Monitor progress against schedule and budget, reporting to senior management.
  • Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement across site activities.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • CSCS / SMSTS or equivalent certification preferred.
