Join Our Team in Macroom and surrounding areas!

We are on the hunt for a caring, empathetic, and reliable Healthcare Assistant for care facilities in county Cork, around Macroom. You will become a member of care teams, delivering and ensuring the highest levels of care to residents. If you have a caring heart and a drive to help others, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients with daily care needs: personal hygiene, meals, mobility
  • Assist nursing staff by monitoring patient health and providing updates
  • Create a safe, comforting environment for patients and families
  • Encourage social activities to enhance patient well-being

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with Intellectual Disabilities
  • FETAC Level 5 – Minimum 3 Modules
  • Forward-thinking & self-motivated
  • Energetic with a compassionate and caring nature.
  • 6 weeks experience working in an Irish Healthcare setting (necessary)

Rates of pay:

13.40-16 per hour Day rate.

Enhanced Night rates & Sunday rates available.
