About The Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Construction Document Controller to support our design and project teams. This role will be responsible for managing, tracking, and distributing project documentation to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.


The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain document control procedures across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company document control procedures.
  • Upload, track, and distribute drawings, specifications, and other technical documents through Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Ensure correct version control, document numbering, and revision management across all project files.
  • Coordinate document submissions and transmittals between internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Support the design and project teams with document management and administrative tasks.
  • Monitor document workflows and ensure deadlines for submissions and approvals are met.
  • Assist in maintaining project registers, including drawing registers and document logs.
  • Ensure documents are stored and archived correctly in accordance with company procedures


About You

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across several projects.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills when working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with digital document management systems and technical project documentation.
  • Proactive and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.


Required Qualifications/ Expertise

  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as MyHub, BIM 360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Strong document management and organisational skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project would be an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Can prioritise and plan effectively with good time management skills.
