Post Summary- To work as part of team of Early Years Educators, promoting high quality care and education for children aged 3 months up to 4.5 years old, in line with current childcare regulations and best practice. To foster strong social and life skills in children and to support the children in becoming active leaners. To work with all stakeholders, ensuring that the needs and emerging interests of the children are core in all actions carried out with and for the children. To work closely with the parent’s group in a confidential and respectful manner. To act as advocates for the children in the Day Nursery and liaise with other professionals in the best interest of the child.
Post status: Permanent Full-time
Hours of Post: Full-Time: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment force be made on the Fortnightly Day Nursery Assistant merged salary scale at a point in line with current Government pay policy. Monthly/weekly payscales. (tcdie)
