Tots & Co is a fun, busy city centre based crèche based on Barrow Street, Dublin 4 in the Grand Canal Dock area of Dublin. We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to grow professionally through our ongoing training, upskilling, and educational assistance, which is offered in our training agreement. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Early Years Educator lead and support children from 6 months of age to preschool with their daily routines
  • Support the learning and development of the children in your care
  • Generate new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
  • Observe, monitor and record the development of each child
  • Plan and implement weekly curriculum which will enhance the child's natural growth
  • Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care
  • Develop good communication and a good working relationship with parents to ensure the well being of their child
  • Communicate with other staff and managers
  • Use of initiatives and dedicated work

Requirements:

  • Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in childcare is essential (or an equivalent recognised by the DCYA)
  • 2 years experience working continuously in Ireland in childcare
  • An excellent working knowledge of Aistear & Siolta frameworks will be required
  • Good understanding of the English Language is essential
  • First Aid, Manual Handling Certified would be an advantage
  • Currently residing in Ireland
  • Have the relevant visas & permits to work full-time in Ireland (This does not apply to Irish or EU citizens)
  • Currently resident in Ireland for a quick start
