Full job description

Early Years Educator

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educators to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment committed to providing high-quality care and education for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences for children in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
  • Support the overall wellbeing, care, and development of your key children.
  • Work collaboratively with the Room Leader, Centre Management, and AIM/Better Start support staff.
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Complete all documentation and records accurately as required by regulations and centre policies.
  • Adhere to all Childcare Regulations and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and a commitment to best practice in early years education.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 5 QQI qualification in Early Childhood Education (Level 6 or higher desirable).
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs is an advantage.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, 52-week contract.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.
  • Competitive salary above ERO rates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €15.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Granard, County Longford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
