Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice to join our team in Offaly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in electrical engineering, instrumentation and industrial maintenance. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals and completing your formal apprenticeship training.

The Role

As an Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice with Martin Instrumentation, you will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in:

  • Electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding.
  • Industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Instrumentation and control systems.
  • Motors, sensors, control panels and cabling.
  • Testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Reading and understanding electrical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Safe working practices and industry standards.

You will combine on-the-job practical experience with off-the-job training as part of the recognised apprenticeship programme.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:
