Since 2015 Lawler Sustainability has set the bar as Irelands foremost Sustainability Experts and we are currently in position to recruit for an experienced Senior IES Modeller/ NDBER Assessor

Job Title
: Senior IES Modeller/ NDBER Assessor


Location
: Kilkenny office with opportunities for Hybrid/remote work for the right candidate. Some on site work may be required.


Experience
: 3+years essential


Responsibilities
:

  • NDBER Assessor
  • Domestic Assessor
  • Proficient in IES Modelling
  • Carry out site visit to confirm required measures have been implemented and collect evidence as required.
  • Prepare thorough, high quality, technical reports which in a clear concise manner, communicate any issues and conclusions
  • Be able to take a high-level initial project/ work brief which is successful managed and converted into a completed project which meets the demands and criteria of client and original specification


Requirements
:

  • Degree level qualification in Built environment/Building Services/Sustainability
  • 3+Years working in a similar role - essential
  • Strong technical, mechanical & electrical knowledge
  • Ability to identify, manage and measure KPI's
  • Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: conceptual energy modelling, daylight analysis, energy audits, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting systems, etc.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Basic technical, mechanical & electrical knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Full Irish Driving License
  • On route to Chartership


Desirable
:

  • Experience with BREEAM or other certification systems
  • Experience with thermal comfort and energy modelling using IES
  • Experience with LEED Commissioning Authority Role
  • Experience with OneClick LCA
