This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects through the design, coordination, installation, and management of electrical and mechanical systems. The position exists to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, technical performance, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Project Delivery

  • Manage the design, coordination, and installation of renewable energy systems, ensuring projects are delivered in line with technical specifications, programme timelines, and quality standards.
  • Oversee project delivery activities including scheduling works programmes, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring project progress to ensure successful and efficient completion of works.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to provide project updates, resolve issues, and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Support positive client relationships through professional engagement and delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE)

  • Ensure all projects are carried out in compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, Irish construction regulations, and company procedures.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure safe systems of work and high standards of workmanship are maintained at all times.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Manage assigned project budgets and resources, monitoring expenditure and identifying cost efficiencies while maintaining project quality and operational performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, records, and reporting to support compliance and effective project administration.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively develop technical knowledge and remain informed on developments within the renewable energy and construction sectors.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute positively to team development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work towards agreed KPIs, demonstrate flexibility to travel as required, and undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent construction project management experience will also be considered.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within the Irish construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and requirements, particularly in relation to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance.
  • Experience in the design, installation, and management of construction or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, and project budgets.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems, including Solar PV, Wind Turbines, and Biomass systems, would be advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively to deadlines and KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Positive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge within a team environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
