How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Safely transport children to and from our services, ensuring a smooth and reliable journey each day
  • Create a calm,safeand respectful environment for children during transit
  • Support children when boarding and exiting the vehicle,ensuring their safety at all times
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks andmaintainhigh standardsof cleanliness and roadworthiness
  • Respond effectively to any incidents,breakdownsor emergencies, following company procedures
  • Support trips, outings and otherauthorisedjourneys that enrich the children’s experience
  • Build positive, professional relationships with colleagues,parentsandcentreteams
  • Contribute to a strong culture of safety,careand accountability across the service

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Must-Haves
  • Full,cleanand valid Category D Irish drivinglicence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification with up-to-date CPC Driver Card
  • Ability to provide up-to-date CPC compliance records
  • Previousexperience driving buses or large passenger vehicles
  • Strong awareness of road and passenger safety
  • Calm, responsible and dependable approach to work
  • Clear communication skills anda professional manner
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working with or around children
  • Experience in a school, childcare or community transport setting
  • Basic first aid training
  • An understanding of child safeguarding principles
