About Us
Fire Protection Ireland is a leading provider of fire protection, life safety, and security systems across Ireland. Due to continued growth and new contract awards, we are expanding our engineering team and are seeking skilled Fire Alarm Engineers to join our company.
The Role
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Servicing and maintenance in accordance with I.S. 3218:2024
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Completion of service reports and certification
- Liaison with clients, site managers, and project teams
- Compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience working on fire alarm systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full, clean driving licence
- Good communication and customer-service skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of addressable and conventional systems
- Experience with panels such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-TEC, Siemens, or Gent
- Familiarity with Irish fire standards (I.S. 3218:2024)
- Safe Pass / Manual Handling (training can be provided)
