One day you'll be troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues from our Service Desk, and the next you'll be onsite deploying equipment, supporting users, or assisting with exciting IT projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Desk & Field Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding IT support to our clients both remotely and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and effective IT support to customers.
• Respond to Helpdesk tickets, phone calls, emails, and chats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Ensure support requests are completed within agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Perform onsite support visits to client locations throughout the Dublin area and beyond when required.
• Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
• Assist with office relocations, workstation setups, technology refreshes, and new user deployments.
• Support senior engineers with infrastructure projects, migrations, and installations.
• Monitor automated alerts and proactively resolve issues before they impact users.
• Accurately document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Create and maintain technical knowledge base articles.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, iPhone/iPad, Android devices, and business applications.
• Configure and support multi-function printers and peripheral devices.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and onsite engagement.
• Identify opportunities to improve customers' IT environments, security, and operational efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Lantech professionally at all times.

What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting users onsite in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies.
• Experience with networking fundamentals, printers, and mobile device management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

A qualification or certification in IT is desirable but not essential, including:

• Microsoft 365 Certifications
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
• CompTIA A+
• Network+
• Security+

Pay: €35,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
