Decontamination Technical Services Ltd, (DTS) is an established and well regarded growing company providing independent services to leading sterilisation and decontamination facilities. We are ISO9001 certified. We have an exciting opportunity for a Field service and validation engineer - sterilisation to join our experienced technical team whom provide essential services to hospitals and life science facilities in Ireland and Europe. There is opportunity for the successful candidate to become an expert in this space and enjoy the flexibility of working for a reputable organisation based from their home and in the field. Whilst training is included, the trainee should have a relevant technical engineering or trade (electrical, mechanical) background.

The main responsibilities for the new role include:

· Testing / validation of sterilisation, disinfection and aseptic equipment such as autoclaves, washers, isolators at client sites in Ireland, uk and EU.

· Preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive callouts

· Generation of documentation/reports and issuing to customers

· Developing excellent relationships with customers

· Actively seeking new opportunities

Desired skills required for the role are as follows:

· High level of technical competency, electrical or mechanical or steam etc. Ideally with a technical qualification such as engineering qualification or National Craft Certificate/City and Guilds/Engineering technician etc.

· The engineer should be well presented, self-driven with a focus on quality and developing customer relationships.

· The trainee should be proficient with computers, in particular MS Office as document completion is a key part of the role.

· Qualifications or experience working with machines, washers, boilers, autoclaves is desirable.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.

· Excellent communicator written and verbally, fluent English written & verbal.

· Ability to prioritize own workload, work to deadlines and deal with conflicting works.

· Full clean driving licence is required and the ability to travel and work away from home when required.

Package includes salary, DOE 40 to €55k, company vehicle, laptop, phone.
