Project Manager - Residential - Leinster

Based in Maynooth.

Project Manager - Residential

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and progressive Project Manager / Retrofitting with a passion for and expertise gained within the area of sustainable energy

Capable of leading & deliverance of entire energy upgrades to include all components of same

This is a key role in leading the energy change-over on the residential side and contributing to the sustainable energy transition.

You should have a proven track record in residential construction, renovations, upgrades etc.

Ability to demonstrate strong Project Management skills which you will have learned in a similar role or gained within site management / foreman background

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed works surveys to assess scope of projects.

Plan & deliver energy upgrades to ensure projects finish on time, within scope & budget.

• Produce detailed project plans, scheduling tasks, timeframes, all resources & budgets.
• Schedule works programmes and liaise to agree with all relevant stakeholders
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities / deduct estimations for projects as necessary.

SEAi experience a distinct advantage but not prohibitive

Site visits should observe quality at inspections at all times, also progess, timings

• Excllent communicator and key contact for all internal / external stakeholders

_ Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of progress / delivery

• Ensure client satisfaction and prompt problem resolution at all times

- Keep the communication channels open - advise of changes / variations asap

• Ensure sign-off from all stakeholders for any changes
• Manage a team of professionals, sub contractors & other stakeholders
• Ensure the team is cohesive with shared objectives

- H&S should always be to the fore

• Motivate team in shared goals and provision of training as necessary
• Ensure Compliance & Quality Assurance through checks through the cycle
• Brief management team of project status regularly,
• Maintain accurate and updated data on all documentation, reports, schedules etc to ensure smooth inspecitions, work schedules etc
• Prepare monthly reports for senior management.

' Seize new business opportunities and engage relevant stakeholders in leads

• Strategise with the senior leadership team on ways to expand the company's brand and presence within the industry.
• Sound financial knowledge, good budgetary responsibility, managing the finances etc.
• Good technical knowledge, interpreting costs from drawings etc.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar work experience if you do not have the formal qualifications mentioned

At least 4 years + professional experience

Good residential construction, renovation, retrofit background

Good experience gained within sustainable energy

Strong negotiation skills, Assertive with sub contractors, clients etc

Excellent understanding of all energy measures, renovations, upgrades

One Stop Shop experience a distinct advantage

Very strong written and verbal communication skills

FCDL Driving License: required to travel to various sites as necessary
