YOUR ROLE
Our Air Operation team in Dublin is looking for an Air Freight Operator to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, booking, and managing air freight shipments for both imports and exports, ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international markets.
This is a Monday to Friday role, 09:00-17:30.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Plan, book, and manage international air freight shipments for both import and export operations.
Coordinate with customers, airlines, carriers, and subcontractors to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods.
Monitor shipments from booking through to final delivery, proactively managing any delays or operational issues.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing clear communication, regular updates, and a high level of customer service.
Prepare and manage all customs and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures.
Produce and process accurate shipment documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and freight documentation.
Ensure all operational records and systems are maintained accurately and kept up to date.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, supporting continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer service.
Resolve customer queries and operational challenges promptly, delivering effective solutions to maintain service excellence.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have experience in air freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain operations, with a good understanding of import/export processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
