Introduction


Indaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe, with facilities and operations in Belgium, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands. Our waste-to-energy facility in Meath produces enough electricity to power 22,000 homes annually. We are looking to expand their team to facilitate growth. This is an ideal opportunity for highly motivated individuals who want to learn new skills and develop in their career.

As a permanent fulltime Process Shift Operator, you'll be a member of our Meath Production Team that autonomously controls and executes the operations of the plant.


Role and Responsibilities

  • As with everyone on site you will be trained to work safely and correctly, assuring a safe workplace for everyone.
  • As part of the team you will ensure the plant operates continuously and at capacity and within licence parameters.
  • Monitoring the plant by means of a process computer monitoring the incineration process, flue gas cleaning, steam condensate system and electricity production will be part of your role.
  • As part of a team you will ensure consumables are accepted as per deliveries expected and required specifications.
  • Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance actions (e.g. lubrication and cleaning of equipment) will be part of your role.
  • Team driven shift pattern with generous shift allowance.

Experience and qualifications
  • Leaving cert with technical subjects or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in the process industry (metallurgy, basic materials, power plant, petrochemicals, mass production industry) in a similar role
  • Experience and knowledge in maintenance of mechanical equipment is an advantage
