About the Role

Coolebridge Care delivers residential services supporting vulnerable adults, families, and individuals experiencing social disadvantage.

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our residential service in Co. Offaly. This role is focused on providing practical, day-to-day support to families, young people, and parents living in a residential setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting residents with daily routines and independent living skills
  • Building positive, respectful relationships with residents
  • Encouraging wellbeing, confidence, and social inclusion
  • Assisting with activities, outings, and family support work
  • Responding calmly and effectively in challenging situations
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records
  • Working as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care
  • Following safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe environment

What We’re Looking For

  • QQI Level 5 or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Healthcare, Social Care)
  • Experience in residential or support work is an advantage, but not essential
  • A genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals and families
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full driving licence (preferred)
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
