Assistant Nutrition Centre Manager (Animal Feed Production)

Shercock, Co. Cavan

Manor Farm is seeking an Assistant Nutrition Centre Manager to support the management of our Nutrition Centre. This could be an excellent next step for someone with strong potential who is eager to learn, develop, and grow into a broader operational role. Reporting to the Nutrition Centre Manager, you will help support the day-to-day running of the feed manufacturing operation, with a focus on operational performance, quality, compliance, and team support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the efficient operation of the Nutrition Centre.

  • Drive production, quality, safety, and cost performance targets.

  • Assist with production and logistics planning, stock control, and raw material management.

  • Ensure compliance with UFAS, GMP, food safety, environmental, and health & safety standards.

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop operational teams.

  • Support audit preparation and regulatory inspections.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in animal feed manufacturing, feed mill operations, agricultural production, or a similar environment would be an advantage.

  • An agricultural degree or related discipline would be an advantage but candidates with significant industry experience will be considered.

  • Some supervisory, team lead, or coordination experience would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and develop is equally important.

  • A good understanding of production processes, quality, compliance, or operational performance, with a desire to build further knowledge in feed production.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
