Are you interested in pursuing a career in farm management? If so, this opportunity may interest you! We are a progressive dairy farm business with 840 crossbred cows to calve down across two farms for spring 2027. The farms are located near to Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, approximately 20 minutes from Waterford city and 20 minutes from Dungarvan.
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team in the latter half of 2026. This role may suit a graduating college student that is interested in pursuing a career in farm management. The successful candidate will be provided with lots of support and advice with a view to taking on the role of farm manager.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead a farm team and seasonal workers
- Complete weekly grass measurements and feeding plans
- Monitor animal health and follow herd health plan
- Oversee daily farm activities
