Full job description

Events & Hospitality Services is an exciting catering company with the responsibility for providing catering services to 8 greyhound stadia nationwide. Locations include Shelbourne Park (Dublin), Newbridge, Mullingar, Galway, Limerick, Tralee, Curraheen Park (Cork), & Kilcohan Park (Waterford). Our product offering ranges from Ala Carte restaurant menus in the stadia grandstand restaurants to a fast food offering in the stadia foodhalls.

Current Opportunities
In preparation for the reopening of our venue in July we are currently recruiting for Commi and Grill Chefs at our Cork based venue, Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium.

Hours will be available every Friday & Saturday Evening.

Role Objectives

To assist the Senior Chef on duty with adhering to all Health and Food Safety areas as laid out by management in the company Health & Safety HACCP and Food Safety Hazard Analysis Training Documents. To also demonstrate and help maintain high levels of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of our customer.

Responibilities

  • To wash Dishes and keep Kitchen area clean.
  • To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
  • To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
  • To ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries.
  • To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
  • To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
  • To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
