Full job description

Join our client, a leading multinational manufacturer of compressors and vacuums, as a Field Service Engineer. We are looking to speak with mechanically or electrically minded individuals ideally with Vacuum/HVAC/ Refrigeration experience. This flexible, field-based role involves maintaining and repairing air compressors and related equipment on customer sites predominantly in the Dublin/ Leinster region. The is a permanent role offering an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on air compressors, dryers, and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A recognised mechanical or electrical qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience within a relevant technical field
  • Basic understanding (or willingness to develop knowledge) of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), refrigeration systems, industrial networks, and remote monitoring technologies.
  • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.
  • Flexibility for on-call duties (on occasion) and regional travel.
  • Full Irish driving licence.
