Full job description

Structured Cabling Technicians.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Cabling Technician to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems to support data, voice, and video communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fibre optic cabling
  • Conduct cable testing and certification using appropriate tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and other technicians on-site

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ICT cabling or related field
  • Familiarity with industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
  • MEWP and Work at Height tickets would be preferred but not essential as training will be given.
  • Experience on large scale Industrial & Pharma based projects would be an advantage.
  • Full clean driving licence (preferred)
  • Must be able to provide references
