VF Foods Ltd is one of Ireland’s leading food distribution companies, supplying frozen, chilled and ambient products to customers nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are hiring a Finance & Reporting Lead to support our Financial Controller across management accounts, reporting, analysis and systems.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or finalist accountant who wants to take on real responsibility, gain broad business exposure, and progress into a senior finance role.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and support weekly and monthly management accounts
  • Analyse margins, pricing, product costs and customer profitability
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
  • Develop improved reporting structures, dashboards and KPI tracking
  • Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and month-end processes
  • Work with sales, purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate data flows
  • Support stock analysis, supplier cost reviews and product profitability analysis
  • Assist with implementation and optimisation of Intact IQ (experience a bonus, not essential)
  • Help streamline processes across finance, reporting, stock and operations
  • Provide general analytical and operational support to the Financial Controller
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the wider business

About you

  • Part-qualified / finalist (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Experience in management accounts or financial analysis
  • Comfortable working with data, numbers and cross-department collaboration
  • Organised, proactive and eager to develop
  • FMCG or distribution experience an advantage
  • Experience with Intact IQ is helpful but not required

What we offer

  • Salary: €45,000–€55,000 DOE
  • Performance bonus
  • Full-time, office-based role (Monday–Friday)
